Our Team consists of ex-dental associates, aerospace engineers, real estate investors, entrepreneurs, and mentors. Together, we bring experience that has acquired over 3,000 units with over 2,600 investors. Our internal network has over $500M+ Assets Under Management.
Michael Italia
CEO & Co-Founder
Michael is a real estate investor from a family with over 40 years of real estate experience. He is local to Southern California, born and raised. He began his Real Estate career in 2005 after graduating college with degrees in Marketing & Finance. Since 2012 Michael has managed a brokerage and has transacted over $40M+ in sales. In other roles, Michael has lead sales teams in logistics and CNC Machinery.
As CEO at Skyscape Equity, Michael brings high attention to detail necessary to meet or exceed projections of our Business Plans. He oversees underwriting analysis, asset management teams, and investor relations.
Outside of work, Michael serves as President of the Board of Directors in his community, managing Budgets and KPIs. He is an avid baseball fan, enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two young kids.

Janet Italia
COO & Co-Founder
Janet is a real estate investor and grew up among a family of Real Estate investors in Northern California. She migrated to Southern California after completing her Double B.A. Degrees in Psychology and World Literature. Professionally, Janet held multiple positions with a desire to help others starting in Education, Behavior Therapy, then moving on to more consultative roles in Home & Commercial sales, to Medical Device sales where she has supported clinicians to expand their private businesses growth through integrating dental implants procedures. She also holds a Residential Real Estate license with a love for homes, living styles & design. As COO at Skyscape Equity, Janet oversees daily productivity & operations, managing broker relationships, finding potential assets, overseeing managers, and handling Investor correspondences.
Janet has a strong work ethic and aspires to teach her 2 kids the importance of living life with a mission while also impacting others to build wealth through Real Estate. Janet aspires to reach not only busy professionals with demanding careers but especially young families to invest early and build wealth so that parents can enjoy time with their kids!

Jonathan Nichols
Advisor
Jonathan is a real estate investor local to the DFW metroplex. He began his REI career after having worked for almost ten years in the aerospace engineering industry as a propulsion engineer where he analyzed and integrated turboshaft engines on helicopter platforms. He holds a B.S. degree and a M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M and Virginia Polytechnical Institute respectively.
He and his wife Paula first began their investing journey in 2018 and have undertaken numerous different types of projects before forming their multifamily investing company Apogee Capital in 2019. His past real estate projects include a 75-unit A class apartment complex in College Station, TX as a GP, two 100+ unit complexes in the Tulsa MSA as a GP, an 8-unit apartment to STR conversation in Arlington, TX as a GP and almost 1000 units investing as an LP. Additionally, he has numerous residential real estate investments including a 20+ unit short-term rental business in the Arlington Entertainment District. Known as a person with a high work ethic,
Jonathan enjoys helping others to achieve their goals (financial or otherwise). Outside of work, he enjoys spending his time racing in Ironman triathlons and traveling with his wife.
